Hi folks, I'm Jungle Jim Greene, and I’m a third generation Florida native. It has been disheartening to have witnessed the continuing depletion of Florida's natural wilderness over many years. Sadly, key species, such as the gopher tortoise, have been lost in many places. Other animals that share their habitats and depend on them are threatened and then the balance of nature suffers. I wonder what will be left for our children and grandchildren to enjoy in our great state. Clean water, fresh air and a healthy habitat are vital to our wildlife and they are vital to us as well. We need them for our own survival. Clean water to drink and fresh air to breathe will not be produced by concrete and asphalt. They will come only from healthy trees in a diverse natural environment. I believe that it is our responsibility to do our very best to educate our neighbors, young and old alike, about the true nature of our environment...now...before it is too late. To help get individuals involved, Eco-Tour Guided Safaris on the St. John’s River are available so that folks have real opportunities to personally experience the natural environment of Florida. To help get kids involved, the Jungle Jim Greene Environmental Awareness Program is now available, at no charge, for school children in public and private schools. This innovative new hands-on educational program has been proudly developed by Jungle Jim Greene’s Alligator Safaris to build knowledge and respect for nature and for the creatures that share the world we live in. You can help too by choosing to promote a healthy environment and a healthy environmentally friendly group at the same time. Contact us to learn more about the Jungle Jim Greene Environmental Awareness Program that is also available for public and private groups such as civic and home owners associations, clubs and corporations. Please be a part of helping to preserve our beautiful state...for us, for our children, and forever. Learn more.
